This Week

Hey folks well we are moving into another week. The 8th grade is working on video game design, the 7th grade is starting their electricity unit, and the 6th grade is starting their hydrogen monoxide rockets.
I was disappointed in the number of returned progress reports, and hope that next week is better.
If your student hasn't gotten their supplies turned in yet, please make sure they do so asap.

Progress Reports

Well, finally an entire week without a weather incident. Got to get them all back on track. The 6th and 7th grade students are finishing their sketch up projects. The 8th graders are working on video game design. Progress reports were sent home today and need to be returned to me on Monday, Jan. 31, at the beginning of each class.

Daily Happenings for September 8

8th Grade- They are using Gamemaker 8 to create a simple video game that they are able to publish to the Internet. No official homework, but they can download Gamemaker and use it at home.
7th Grade- Still working on Electricity using a simulation that is accessed through the wikki space. www.omsteched.wikispaces.com. All of the activities are available there as well. No official homework
6th Grade- We are going through engineering design process creating gliders. No official homework.

Special note:
Anyone wanting to donate plastic containers that are shoebox size would be GREATLY appreciated.

LEGO LEAGUE will begin September 13 at 2:30.
